Just Another Old Bowhunter |
|
Tom Kidwell has spent more than fifty years in the captivating embrace of the bow and arrow. During this time, he has walked the rugged cliffs of Idaho's Hells Canyon, stalked the illusive bull elk in the high country of the Rocky Mountains, hunted bear from Canada to Virginia, and in the process, managed to wrangle a lifetime of memories spent with his friends and various other critters. He is one of the many thousands of bowhunters and archers that have chosen traditional archery tackle as their mainstay. In reading the story of Tom's life with the bow, we are reminded of the relative insignificance of the kill and the overpowering importance of the experience.
